FROM LONG ISLAND PRESS
THE STORY
Stu Goldberg's Mr. Cheapo franchise is the archetype of what one expects when they think used record store- tiny, dimly lit, inviting, and packed full from wall to wall with CDs.

THE DEAL
The employee was giddy at the sight of Gorky's Zygotic Minci, a first for this experiment, and proof that each employee's subjective knowledge will play a role in your cash-out. While forking over two dollars for Gorky's, Mothers Milk, Primary Colors and Hormoaning, the new TLC pulled in three bucks (as did Bitches Brew and Let It Bleed), a sign that they could recognize a hot seller in good condition, regardless of personal taste. Cheapo's searches carefully for scratches and, in the case of Tracks, settled on a $12 exchange, due to the fact that there were three in stock. Taking everything we had to offer, even if it was a dollar for both the Chad Kroeger and Vines discs, the trip on traffic-heavy Jericho Turnpike was justified by its returns.
